CFE WORKSHOP ON CHANCE, CREDENCE, COMPUTATION

The workshop will take place at Carnegie Mellon University, under the auspices of the Center for Formal Epistemology, on the weekend of September 21 and September 22, 2024.

This will be an interdisciplinary workshop centered around the title themes, understood in a broad sense. It will explore philosophical, methodological and mathematical aspects of probabilistic reasoning, ranging from Bayesian conceptions of rationality, to chance and its relation to credence, to logical and computational considerations in probabilistic learning.
